Marta Romera
Born in Badalona, she holds degrees in Library and Information Science and Documentation from the University of Barcelona (UB). She is a children's literature author, librarian, storyteller, leader of reading clubs and writing workshops, and currently, she is also involved in digital publishing. Her professional choices stem from a single motivation: to foster a love of reading. To this end, she has worked in various public libraries, including directing the El Carmel-Juan Marsé Library, the Garcilaso Library in Barcelona, and the Martí Rosselló Library in Premià de Mar. She is the recipient of the Joescric Prize for children's stories (2008) and the 40th Guillem Cifre de Colonya Children's and YA Narrative Prize.
