Àngel Burgas

Àngel Burgas has a Fine Arts degree and for a few years combined painting with literature and teaching. His stories often deal with social issues like immigration, diversity and justice. He is a member of the editorial board of Faristol, a magazine on children’s and juvenile literature, as well as one of the writers of “Llibres al replà”, a blog on the same subject. He has received various awards, such as the Folch i Torres, the Joaquim Ruyra and, more recently, the 2024 Crítica Serra d’Or.
