Araiz Mesanza

Araiz Mesanza (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1983) is an illustrator and graphic designer. She studied Fine Arts in Bilbao and Illustration at Escola Massana in Barcelona. In 2011, she co-founded the independent publishing collective Ediciones Armadillo. Since 2016, she has lived in Oslo, where she completed a master’s degree at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. She has taken part in international residencies and exhibitions, and continues to work across various illustration formats.
